An ultralight backup light with a reflector-housed 0.5-watt LED, the new Ion Headlamp from Black Diamond™ is small enough to stash just about anywhere, but casts a far-reaching beam strong enough to guide you through the darkest of situations. Black Diamond’s lightest headlamp, the Ion has a pivoting head that angles the light anywhere you need it, and a replaceable 6-volt battery that provides power for 15 hours at the low setting and three hours on high. A slim half-inch elastic headband adjusts with a slider to fit over a climbing helmet or a hat.
