The M16®-12 is a little bulldog with a powerful Tanto-style dual grind blade, packing a lot of power in a compact package. Designed for function--not fad--it has been a popular CRKT® model for nearly a decade. It features a wide blade design for multiple and difficult tasks, and sure-grip contoured handles provide comfortable grip with or without work gloves. It has a stainless steel locking liner with friction grooves for positive locking with limited access and superior safety. The AUS 8 stainless steel blades assure edge retention and durability, and combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edges master rugged cutting tasks that break down standard cutting edges.
One-hand opening and closing is velvet smooth, the result of Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot. The ambidextrous thumb studs with checkered surface provide instant access in any circumstance. And every M16® features a removable Teflon-plated stainless steel clothing/gear clip.
The AutoLAWKS™ automatic safety, an advanced version of the Lake And Walker Knife Safety, has been incorporated into the M16-12, which automatically converts it into a virtual fixed blade when opened. The M16-12 is perfectly balanced, and every detail has a working purpose.
