The Equinox Terrapin Ultralite Poncho/Shelter with Extension adds an additional 14” inches of length vs. it's companion, the Terrapin Ultralite Poncho/Shelter. It provides addtional material to securely cover your backpack as you're trekking, or increase the size of your shelter. This excess fabric can be snapped away when not in use. The silicone impregnated ripstop nylon is extremely waterproof and lightweight, so you can keep your pack dry without adding a lot of weight to it.
It feaures a larger cut than most ponchos to keep your knees and legs dry as well. A hood designed to allow peripheral vision cinches closed with a drawstring cord lock, keeping your head dry. The larger size also helps make this poncho more versatile. To easily convert the poncho to a shelter, the four corners have durable nylon loops to use as tie downs.Features:
